The Island of Mallorca has a secret. A secret that has been hidden for quite a while. A secret that if you have two wheels, stacks of energy, an endless supply of enthusiasm and a desire to ride in the warm glow of a sun that appears to make more than one appearance a month, Mallorca's little secret might be just for you.

You see hiding in the North, there are many cycling routes that will make your drizzly wet Sunday afternoon jaunt, in the howling winds of June and the rain swept days of July, become a distant memory.  Mountain routes, coastal ambles, beaches and the rolling hills of the beautiful countryside, there is enough variety to please just about every ability here in Mallorca.

But the secret is getting out, it was once home to just local cyclists and the odd professional team, but Mallorca is now reaching out to the amateur cyclist.  So if you are looking for some serious climbing, Sa Calobra, Puig Major and the Col de Soller on the West coast will challenge the more serious of pedal heads.  Cycle hire in Mallorca is available in all the major resorts, particularly in Port De Pollensa and Alcudia. Accommodation is plentiful on the island and many offer excellent facilities for the budding amateur enthusiast.

So here at Mallorca Cycling Hotels, we thought it would be a great idea to bring Mallorca's little secret to you, but keep it to yourselves....

Its a secret....
